Very quiet primitive campsites and plenty of full hookups. People bring their horses here and ride them around the trails. Lots of fish, mostly bluegill in the lake. I enjoyed my time here!
This park is a quiet gem with nice sized campsites. Sadly, the beach is not useable for swimming but there were fishermen galore! Hiking trails looked well maintained also.
Jefferson Lake State Park is a 962-acre park located in Jefferson County, Ohio. The park is home to a 17-acre lake, as well as hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. Visitors can also enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, and camping at the park.
Clean and has a beautiful sunset across the water. The trails are well maintained and the people that I have met there seem very friendly.
Camp area and restrooms were super clean! The lake itself has the toxic blue-green algae and is pretty gross but there's plenty of gorgeous wooded trails to walk instead.
