Nice place when we were kids in the 60's-70's and went here. A lot changed since then. Campground is huge but you're on top of each other. Beach was so-so. There was a group that day that sat their book box in the sand and cranked it up all the way which is ridiculous. Also seems like you can smoke anywhere even right on top of your kids. Probably won't go back.

What a weekend we had! This place put an amazing learning weekend with Mohican and often does. Check the schedule for great outdoor learning with your kids! Got to see the Osprey nest and shoot BB guns! What a blast

We had an absolutely five star camping weekend!! We camped in area G which is brand new and in great condition. The electrical is all up to code and proper breakers and outlet receptacles are available for 15/20, 30, and 50 amp service. Water is clean and clear and has a pretty neutral taste. There were four individual showers available for our area with a little trickle of otherwise very hot water in well kept stalls.

The beach by area G was nice and clean and offered a refreshing cool off from the afternoon heat. There wasn't any ice available for purchase but the store right down the road had some. It was a surprisingly quiet weekend but it was still early in the season. As a bonus, we picked up a few bags of trash around the campground to get a couple free nights!! We'll be happy to come back again!!
