Loved the campground, campsites are a little too close together if your looking for privacy but definitely a nice place to stay
A nice cozy campground with nice views and access to water activities. It’s good for an overnight stay, but with limited facilities I wouldn’t multiple days. (Also, I’m a lightweight camper, for what it’s worth.)
Not open right now but when they do open they don't allow all of the campsites to be taken. But I love to go in there before they open the campgrounds and fish
A big reservoir, clean areas to swim and enjoy water sports: kayaking, wind and kite surfing, paddle boarding and so much more. The areas near the water are pretty secluded and many people fish. A lot of parking lots around it, with restrooms that are usually clean. There is also a good campground. You have to register to stay there.
Beautiful, clean and quiet! We brought our kayaks and spent as much time as we could on the reservoir (great launch access for the campers)! We went specifically to see the purple martins but unfortunately, I think we were a little early... so it gives a great excuse to go back in a week or two! Definitely recommend!
