Our company (River Valley Restoration) renovated a home recently in the Campgrounds.
The customer absolutely loves it.
Awesome Place To Visit, Stay, Or Live. Church Services, Swimming Pool, And Cafe On Dite
An awful toxic community of backbiters, gossips and petty Peyton Place politics
A resident of the community who also serves in our community law enforcement services described the place as a time bomb ready to go off - now that is one fireworks show I would not want to miss. This community exemplified humanity at its very worst.
The community is dominated and exploited by a small group of power hungry and profit driven bullies who seize their members property for the smallest infractions in a profiteering scheme to benefit the few. Currently there are multiple (in excess of three) lawsuits being processed through the courts against the campground and hopefully the verdicts will expose this Kabuki theater for what it is and bring these criminals to justice.
Activity center has musty smell that aggravated my sinuses. Have to refresh all fabrics that were used there. Spiders & webs throughout the building Trash cans were overflowing.
Excellent location with a perfectly manicured lawn & grounds. Lots of picnic area, some basketball and tennis courts. Most were once summer homes and cabins that have nearly all been remodeled and converted to year round living with the same modest footprint. Cabin ownership comes with community responsibilities. Once on the edge of town, it is now within a couple miles of fabulous pizza, pastries and franchise chain shopping. The cost of living here is less than average to live elsewhere. Services include a membership-only pool(serviced with life guards) facility rentals for under half the normal fees, a well staffed office crew to assist with multiple services. Lodges that sleep 32 can be rented for retreats, an open event hall can be rented to include tables, chairs and small kitchen. The cafe is open at various times for anyone and many staff are CPR and First Aid certified. There is a strong sense of community and caring among the staff to the residence. The campground (RV) to the non residential side and a second entrance has a large event center available for community rental. It may have different management but the view appears to include it all.
