From Nov 1 - April 1, water service is not available in the Ohio Expo Center campgrounds.
There's train tracks right by it and they're loud and annoying and they come like every 20 minutes but if you can forget about that other than that it's great here there's showers and shower house and different campgrounds; there's a vents that go on throughout the years stuff like that it's really a good place
This campground is by far the worst we have ever stayed in. It is not well kept (Trash, overgrown) and there is a lack of security, that is needed. People were wandering around all hours of the night, some screaming. You will also be required to pay 1280 + a 3% credit card fee when they come by on Thursday, even if you only stay a night. Also to check out you have to hunt down this trailer they are located in to get your money back. They don't answer either so we spent a solid 30 minutes trying to find the place to check out. There is also a train yard right next to it and you will hear trains, cars and airplanes all hours.
The only good thing about this is the location in relation to the city, although it is not in a great area of town.
Always a good place to park your RV for a few days in-between campgrounds or just driving through Ohio. No need to call, just park your RV and they will knock on your door for payment. Not all sights have full hookup so you may have to search for one.
Went there with the understanding that there are no reservations needed as the website says. Drove from Youngstown towing camper to get turned away. Told needed reservations for the event that was never stated on the site! Cost 175 dollars for a dump hotel room. Would have made other plans if we knew! Very disappointed! Should have posted reservations need for the event that was going on! Camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are NOT accepted, or needed. The campgrounds will NOT fill for your event (except during the Quarter Horse Congress in October). Directly from there site!
