About Campground

Under the Stars Campground is the perfect place to make family memories! Conveniently located near Hocking Hills and Athens, there is plenty to explore. Hiking and biking trails, canoeing, ziplining, hunting, and more are all just a few miles away. Or stay on site for a quiet, relaxing trip!

The Trading Post offers basic supplies, including firewood, ice, fishing bait, beverages, snacks, and more. The resort office is located in this building as well, should you require any assistance during your stay.

We purchased this beautiful campground in December 2020 and are gearing up for a fantastic 2021 camping season. We have several upgrades planned for the 2021 season, including a new playground, themed weekends, scheduled crafts and games on the weekends, and more. Keep an eye on our Facebook Page for our calendar of upcoming events and activities.

If you need help choosing the right site or need a last-minute site, please call us. When selecting filters on our reservation page, you may inadvertently filter out sites that work for your equipment. If no sites are available, please call us as we can often help get you booked.

Nice and quiet campground. I recommend that you come self contained for bathing as the bathhouse is limited. We did experience low voltage, but no damage as we have a power protector. Nice location between Athens and Hocking Hills. Very pretty area.

Great campground! We are travel nurses and this worked great for us and the 3 months we were there. We were in site 3, which was a full hookup. The site was large and level with a beautiful view from both the front and back of the site. The owner Kellie was helpful with anything we needed from the time we arrived until we left. If you're looking for a quiet and friendly campground this is the place!!

I really really tried to give this campground the benefit of the doubt - but we would not stay here again.

The bathroom/showerhouse was absolutely disgusting - dead bugs everywhere, trash overflowing, no toilet paper or handsoap, toilets splattered with feces - the entire stay. Even after bringing it to the hosts attention. This was frustrating because the host lives in the rv directly next door to the shower house. The bathrooms were not maintained or attended to the entire weekend we were there, except for on the last day, someone graciously left us 1/4 roll of toilet paper, and filled the empty soap container with a splash of water. Awesome.

I attempted to reach the host multiple times (call and text) during our 2 night stay to ask basic Campground questions. The host did not respond, nor was reachable at her rv all weekend. Every time we stopped by, we were told she was at a friend's camper.

I was told the owners just bought this property, and I am really hoping they will do better with this campground in the future.

A nice, little RV park with 50/30/20 electric hookups and water. It was dark and quiet, which is just what we wanted. There's a bath house with a couple of showers, a couple of sinks, and a couple of toilets. There are also a few portapotties on the property. Reservations online were easy, and so was checking in using the link they emailed. I would definitely visit again.

I have lived across from this campground for almost 40 years.

I have seen it go thru several owners and not always good, I have to say the new owners have done a great job and has taken it to the level it originally was!

Great family oriented campground. I would highly recommend it.
