Great place! The RV spots are very spacious. Plenty of room to set up our tables, chairs and inflatable movie screen. We loved everything about it. Short walk to the river. We will definitely be coming back in the summer.

This is a definite return destination in my book for future vacations! The biggest reason for selecting this place was because of the location specifically to everything around the lake and river. It was an excellent spot to fish right on the river with great access for canoeing and tubing. It was not a long drive to make it to any particular spot or trail along the lake. The scenery was easily the best part about this location. The cabins themselves were also very well kept and clean when arrived. The service to check in and out was incredibly smooth and easy with no complications whatsoever. The prices were also really fair as well compared to other locations around the area. I would highly recommend this place for a great introductory spot to "camp" in haha.

We camped here in our Motorhome. Chose it because we just needed a place to stay in the area and had seen it on a previous trip through.

Very pleasantly surprised. Camp sites are well spaced and nestled in a small valley between two wooded hillsides. Restrooms and showers were clean and fairly up to date. Laundry room with decent sized washers / dryers very reasonably priced. Pools in both campground and main areas were clean and well Maintained, lots of chairs on the pool decks.

The river was pretty and although most of the Guadalupe river is pretty low right now there was enough water to wade or float in on the property. It would Be nice if there were steps down to river on both ends of property.

People in previous reviews have complained about how far campground is from cabin area and main pool and you have to walk on the road, but there is a nice path that leads from the campground pool parking already to the road just across the street from main area. You only have to walk on the roadside for about 50 yards.

For the most part employees were very friendly and helpful.

Would stay again.

We stayed at the RV park for 3 weeks and everything was great.

It was quite, not very crowded and you would see deer walking around the park during the day.

We did asked to change our site which was no problem.

The staff was always friendly and polite.

Only "issue" which wasn't for us big of a deal, was low water pressure.

Other than that we enjoyed the whole stay!

Rented 4 cabins for family retreat. Beautiful site and clean and comfortable cabins. Weather didn't cooperate so we spent most of our outdoor time huddled around fire pit, but each of our adult children expressed interest in returning on their own when temperatures were more accommodating.
