Worst campsite we have ever stayed at but it was our only option. Extreme rains had flooded the state campground with electric hookups. RV pad was both short and very narrow. Our trailer is just 23 feet from hitch to rear bumper and our hitch was not fit on the pad if our stabilizer legs were on the concrete. The ground was very uneven and muddy. There was no view of the lake from the very limited camping area. The price charged was higher than the price quoted over the phone when we called to make a reservation. On the plus side, there was a safe swing set our 6 year old niece enjoyed once the rain stopped.

Family business with two locations on South and North parts of the State Park. Their boats were clean, rooms were clean and furnished and they had bait ready with the boat every morning. Package deals are very good prices and well worth the stay. Staff was very helpful. I would book again soon!

My husband and I stayed at north resort for past 3 days. Was a 15 yr anniversary for us. We fished, met many very nice people, the owners and people working there were just great. Our little cabin was awesome. Was very homey,, clean,, anything we needed they got for us. The price for all that was included was great! We hated to leave but know we will be returning next year for sure. Thank you for a great experience and great time. Janet and Wayde

1. Don't expect some 5 star place of the rich and famous, this place is a beautiful quiet, on the waters edge, Mom and Pop place. It has the old rustic Bayou look. You have a choice of motel/hotel type rooms, or cabins. The prices for fishing packages are affordable. The owners are great folks. We went in July,( off season if you're out for crappie) we already planning our return vacation for our next visit
