Awesome campsite. Stayed here for our pheasant hunting trip with the dog. We stayed at site c which had electricity. Water was off because of the cold but the campground has a heated bathroom with running hot water by the entrance. Site c was awesome it definitely felt the biggest and most secluded. Virtually nobody was there during our stay but I imagine it gets crowded in the warmer weather. Angela the coordinator was very helpful. Shout out to Alex who was working when we were there who helped us out and checked in on us. Great people in Mitchell, I highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be back.
Smaller city park. Camp hosts work hard to keep clean. I would recommend not camping in sites 21_26 as kids and teenagers above cut through these campsites, climb over your property rather than use the roads. I addressed this with parents, the kids and the camp host however this continued to happen. The site above me, I was on 22, kids were throwing water balloons onto my site, teenager coming down the bank and climbing over my tow dolly. The male adult was draining his water hose down into my site. Park is nice but needs a better barrier between the upper and lower sites. Im afraid not much can be done about disrespectful fellow campers
Excellent place to stay! The place was clean, quiet, and relaxing. There were a variety of camp sites: tents, 30 & 50 amp, some with full hookups too. They had nice showers, laundry, playground, a beach area to swim on the lake, and paddle boats to rent. Wish we could have stayed one more night. Plus it only cost $37!!
