We had an amazing 5 night stay at the ranch! This was our first glamping experience and it did not disappoint. The tent was well equipped and the a/c was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were close and cleaned everyday, lots of bugs, but hey it's camping! The only negative things i can say are the pillows were really flat, we went to family dollar and bought new ones, and some of the outside furniture is about ready for replacement. Overall we had a relaxing, fun and very memorable trip.
This is such a relaxing getaway. A few hours from Houston but a whole other world away. Relaxing while tubing on the water was our favorite activity. I would say the outhouse toilets and showers could be cleaned in more frequent intervals due to the high volume of campers using them. Other than that it was excellent!
We absolutely love sons river ranch for a group outting with our friends. The cabanas are chic and perfect for accommodating large groups. The water is right there. The amenities are set up for day fun. Wonderful experience for all involved. We thank you so much sons river ranch!!!
When we were there last year it wasn't quite completed on the grounds. But everything else was great! The cabins were very well equipped and being able to park right there under your cabin was a plus. We rented a cabana with our stay right on the river. And Kayaking was absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed the resort and will definitely return!
Always a great time! It’s family friendly which I appreciate even though I don’t have kids (the party in the bungalow next to us was blasting music with expletives and a staff member kindly asked them to please change the music which they did thankfully with no issues). It’s such a great and affordable way to cook out, go tubing, and enjoy the day with friends. We always reserve one of the two story bungalows—the one closest to the bathrooms (porta John’s but they’ve always been clean). Cant recommend Sons enough!
