A beautiful experience!! Even though we got lots of rain, lots of cold cold wind, we had a blast! The cabins were perfect! Our views were amazing! Such a beautiful place regardless of rain or sunshine. Definitely coming back!

Amazing stay at Son’s Geronimo! At first it wasn’t really what I imagined. I thought that water would be in front of the cabins but it’s more like one side of the road is the cabins and right across (very short walking distance) is where the water is at. But no complaints about the layout. The water was not low where the main creek is but if you keep kayaking upstream it gets shallow in some areas. For the main part it was pretty deep. I love that the kayaks were on a lock it seemed like the other cabin resort didn’t haven’t any on their docks so I appreciate the availability they had with the kayaks. The water was amazing, super cold, and refreshing and easy to get into. The rec room was also pretty fun with a couple fun games like pool and ping pong and it was right outside our cabin. The cabin itself was really comfortable, the only thing was the floors didn’t feel that clean and my only other issue is the window curtain right next the the toilet. Other than that it had lots of outlets to charge things, comfortable beds, tv, a cooking area, really cold and nice AC. I would definitely keep coming back here for vacation. The whole family absolutely loved it. I loved every part of the stay and it was an easy check in as well. I like that the manager also goes around from time to time to make sure things were good (like making sure the kayaks were locked up in when not in use). The location is also close to some gas stations and stores in case you need to pick groceries up.

We stayed in one of the birdhouse units. When we got it, the bathroom started leaking water from under the tile floor. After informing them of the issue, they sent out their maintenance the day after. They drilled a few holes from under the cabin to “drain” the water. However that only took care of what was already in the floor. Every time you showered or flushed the toilet, water came seeping through the flooring all the way to the front door. We let them know about it and they just said that they can’t move us and they will be able to fix it when we leave. Didn’t even bother to offer a discount of any kind. Just gave us some “free” tickets to go float the river. Which for one we had 7 people and they gave us 5 tickets and honestly, it was the worst experience the entire time we were there. The river was low and barely moving so the kids kept floating into dead spots where the adults had to swim back against the current to get them unstuck. The natural river that’s close to the birdhouse was pretty cool. However, there are paddle boats on one side and a cool rope swing on the other. Apparently our kids couldn’t play on the rope swing because we weren’t “camping” on that side of the river and it’s supposedly owned differently. Some kids wanted ours to play with them on the swing and we were told by the staff that they couldn’t play there with them. The paddle boards belong to “our side” of the river but no one said anything about them using our stuff even though it had our camps name on them clear as day. Half of the advertised amenities that are advertised are either not working or doesn’t exist anymore. Overall the birdhouses are pretty cool and I’m sure it would’ve been fine had they fixed the issue, moved us, or even discounted the stay for having to deal with it, but none of the above was done so we most definitely will not be going back any time soon.

Our stay at Geronimo Creek was very relaxing and enjoyable. I loved the cabin! It had everything we needed. It was very roomy, the mattresses, pillows and blankets were very comfortable- not the cheap stuff! The grounds were very well lit in the evening with cozy lights. Plenty of seating area for relaxing outside. The amenities were all nice. We are looking forward to going back!

Overall it was a good experience, the rooms were well furnished. Internet worked well, lots of hot water, heating and cooling. The environment is nice and open. My only gripe was that our bathroom didn’t have a lock inside. Enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommend.
