Great place to chill out and cool off in the river with the kids. The cabanas are great providing shade and seating and hang out with friends and family. We stayed in a glamping tent which was very comfortable, toilet/shower blocks were good. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Chose to go on a Monday and Tuesday in October to avoid crowds and noise, since we were looking for a quiet and restful time. We usually avoid public camping grounds bc of nighttime noise, but thought we would give this a shot only because of their verbiage that quiet hours are "strictly enforced" between 11pm-7am.

A very inconsiderate group showed up and started playing loud music and yelling and partying about 10:30pm. The campground only provides one phone number and one email, and there was NO ONE we could find to enforce those quiet hours. After calling several times, the night dispatcher finally found the person who was supposed to be hosting and convinced them to shut down the party about 1:30 pm.

It was so unpleasant, we did not stay for our second night. Trying to get a human person to talk to us about this awful experience has been impossible.

Edit: Got the response below on Feb 15th, 4 months after our abysmal trip to their resort. I called the phone number they left this morning, and got the same answering service we got when we were trying to get help the day we were there. The girl said she would forward my information to management, and they would call me today before 12:30. They did not. I am sure this is the same management that would only communicate with me after it happened through email, and would not respond after they gave me "their final decision." I just want anyone who sees this to know they have no intention of fixing their mistakes or improving their service.

We had a family outing here for my husbands birthday. It was an enjoyable weekend all around! The cabins are clean and comfortable. I would say, believe then when they say only 4 per cabin. We tried to use air mattresses for the kids and it was too crowded! Great cabanas and river access as well!

Stayed mid-week in Cabin #1 for 3 nights..... had a fantastic experience. Cabin accommodations were very nice, enjoyed the quiet of the off-season stay, enjoyed fires in the firepit at night and walks on the grounds during the day. Staff that checked us in were very helpful and gracious. We will definitely be booking another stay very soon.

My friends and I spent a night here which was great. Son's Blue River Camp is tucked away, it's a nice escape. The rooms were very nice and clean. They provide a good amount of kitchen ware for cooking. The bathrooms are deluxe trailer bathrooms, but maybe could have been cleaned a little more often since people are tracking dirt in the shower after tubing down the river. Tubing down the river was fun, a nice long lazy river. So yeah, I recommend it! it's a good family or girls/guys weekend place to make memories at!
