Lovely campground! We really enjoyed out two night stay. The staff is amazing! Everyone we met was so friendly. The grounds are kept super clean. So close to the water, with walking paths and swings to enjoy. We can't wait to get back!
From the moment I made my reservation and spoke to Ms. Missie I couldn't wait to meet her because of her polite and friendly voice. Now if you looking for excitement and upscale amenities this is not the campsite for you but if you looking for peace, friendly people, and a private pier and beach access where you can just sit and enjoy the Good Lord's creation; then this is the place for you. The wifi is also awesome that includes 4g and 5g network and the spaces are wide. I would definitely visit again.
Well, the people here are very, very nice... but this place is a graveyard for campers no longer able or want to be towed. There are permanent campers everywhere, with most having trashy outsides, some look run down, falling apart, water damaged and others look abandoned. The pool is big, but old. The rv spots to park your temporary stay are basically an open field between the road, office, and the graveyard of campers with no shade. Most of the permanent campers need to be bulldozed down to make the place look better. The campground, or should I say, Trailer Park has a beautiful view of the intercoastal water way and a nice calm beach area with a small fishing pier, but you have to find a way around the trashy campers to see and enjoy it all. We heard a company out of NY purchased the park. We don't know what their plans are with this beautiful spot, but removing all the trashy campers is a good start, and putting in some money to fix up the place would be nice.
Good location, great if you're into fishing. Quiet, friendly, home spun atmosphere. Staff is helpful and friendly. Many improvements planned beginning this winter so stay tuned.
Only went to do a job burying underground utility cable line but was very impressed with Campground. Looked to be very kept up
