White Lake Motel and Campground is located at 10 White Lake Dr, in White Lake North Carolina. We are located 91 miles from Raleigh, 42 Miles from Fayetteville and 319 Miles from Asheville.
Don't let the word motel deter you from coming here. Ive been coming here since I was a kid and love it even as an adult. Super clean and the lake is as beautiful as ever. The owner keeps the motel in top shape and the campground just as neat. If you want sweet southern charm and good old fashioned lake fun then this is the place to be. The price was reasonable, rooms were were well laid out with a mini fridge, microwave, small table and 2 double beds. The only complaint i have about the room is that the carpet was sticky on my feet. The swiming area was clean and not too crowded, all though there were a few people amoking on the docks and while floating around in the water. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
I rented three rooms for my family for a long weekend. The rooms were clean and the picnic tables outside rooms were great to play games with the grandkids at night. The beach area was a bit small but with only 50% capacity rule it wasn't that crowded. Very nice picnic area and swings by the lake. The grandkids could walk a good ways in the lake without it being over their heads which was nice. Everyone there especially Teddy and Bear's mom were very nice. It was a fun time and we plan to stay here again in August. I would recommend this place.
Wr always stay at white lake motel and campground. The place is kept up, the staff are very friendly. Me and my family really enjoy the motel and lake. The kids Lways enjoy the water. Traffic isn't bad thought ojt the motel and campground. I recommend this place. :) . This is where my husband and I got married. Right on the lake front.
My friends and I were here for the first time in an RV with a Golf Cart as our only transportation. The small camp store did not have supplies we needed so we took the golf cart down the road to a nearby store. When they left the property, no one was in the guard house. After about 10 minutes they returned to a rude, hateful, obnoxious man yelling about how we could not drive our golf cart back into the campground and it would need to be pulled in on a trailer. This was ridiculous and unnecessary. The camp sites are too small and close together. Trash is not picked up. If you are accustomed to nicer accommodations when camping this is not the place for you. This was our first and last time staying here, and I understand why there was availability. When you work in a public setting, you need to have basic manners and try to be helpful to people…not yell at them for trivial things.
