Well, the people here are very, very nice... but this place is a graveyard for campers no longer able or want to be towed. There are permanent campers everywhere, with most having trashy outsides, some look run down, falling apart, water damaged and others look abandoned. The pool is big, but old. The rv spots to park your temporary stay are basically an open field between the road, office, and the graveyard of campers with no shade. Most of the permanent campers need to be bulldozed down to make the place look better. The campground, or should I say, Trailer Park has a beautiful view of the intercoastal water way and a nice calm beach area with a small fishing pier, but you have to find a way around the trashy campers to see and enjoy it all. We heard a company out of NY purchased the park. We don't know what their plans are with this beautiful spot, but removing all the trashy campers is a good start, and putting in some money to fix up the place would be nice.
