We did a traditional campsite with tent. The sites include water and electricity. The staff and majority of people we interacted with were very pleasant and polite. Plenty of RV sites too. They also have pretty big cabins with full kitchens, bathroom, and bedding. Only thing you’ll need are your own linens. I highly suggest this campground whether you live in Illinois or are passing through.
If you’re looking for a family friendly campground then this is your place! Tons of activities for the kids, even during the week! The playground was great, the pool was big, the bathrooms/showers and laundry were all very clean, the staff was very friendly and super helpful. We always enjoy Yogi Bear Parks and this was another park that did not disappoint!
This has to be the best Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground™️ in the United States! Everyone I know that’s been here is just raving about it! My wife and kids love it here! There’s so much for the kids to do which lets the “adults relax” due to all of the kids activities that literally last all day long throughout the weekend in the summer months! One unique thing is they don’t allow campers to come in on Saturday… This is because there are so many activities going on with kids that they cannot afford to let big vehicles move around during this time! Absolutely AMAZING!!! If I could give it 10 stars I would 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Best campground ever!!!
This weekend was our first visit to RA and our family had a blast! Or as my kids said “Best weekend ever!” We were invited by some friends to come check it out-as they are regular campers there, and we may have caught the camping fever too! We stayed in the lakeside bungalow and it was perfect for our family. Clean and spacious with everything we needed. The activities were a huge hit, the pool was great, and the grounds were so nice. We only wish we could have stayed longer! An extra special shout out to the staff for working so hard to make this a great trip from start to finish. We even got home and realized our son left a few things behind and they were recovered! Thank you for such a memorable weekend!
We first wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to Bob, who helped us with having an issue with our camper. He was so nice and friendly and helpful, and even it wasn't his work time he helped us to fix things. THANK YOU BOB!!!
The campground is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by big trees and a nice lake. Very quiet and peaceful.
Very clean, lots of space for your camper.
We highly recommend this place, we would stay longer if we wouldn't drive the Route 66 as this is so nice for having a little vacation.
