Welcome to the sanctuary!
The turn to the Spring Lake Campground entrance is across from the Savanna Airport on IL-84. You will turn between two blue storage buildings and go across the train tracks to enter the campground.
Spring Lake Campground has the most incredible owners. I have never stayed somewhere with owners who care so much about their people. They are there in a heartbeat to meet any needs, or to answer any questions. They are incredible with kids, and are always trying to meet their needs as well for a fun stay! Lots of fun activities inside of the check in building. Coloring, table-soccer and more. Different types of activities are done throughout the summer outdoors. Very quiet, and beautiful place to stay. Fishing, canoeing, bike rides, sand to play in near the water, and many other adventurous things for kids to do. The outdoor shower is incredible 😍 I HIGHLY recommend this place. A beautiful, chill place to relax and get away from reality for a while.
This Campground is as described by the owners, peaceful and quiet. The owners, Danika and James, are very friendly and accommodating. Danika assisted me backing into my site, as I had no one with me to yell at me while doing so🤣. No yelling or other adverse conditions were encountered while parking😃. This a nice, no frills, non-resort style campground. Nice gravel pads with fire rings and a grill on top. Looks like there could possibly be some good fishing right here from shore. I will not hesitate to return here, once I leave, 😁 especially with the very reasonable nightly rates.

I have returned and have had another peaceful stay. I'll be back again someday for sure.
We rate this campground...Excellent. The owners, James and Danika are extremely personable, kind and down to earth. We felt like we've known them forever. The campground was very clean, the outhouses are the cleanest we've ever seen. Our favorite part was the outdoor shower, what a cool experience. The fellow campers were all pleasant and respectful of each other. We look forward to coming back again.
This quiet little campground, was surely one of my favorites. The outdoor shower was so neat! The veggies in their garden, that they leave out for campers, were so good! The owners are very kind and accommodating. The campground is clean and well maintained. The firewood was well worth it for the price. The camp store is full of puzzles and games that both my son and I enjoyed! Although my son disliked there wasn't a playground, there are many parks and pools nearby! We very much enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway with the prettiest sunsets.
