From jct Hwy 154 & Hwy 127/13: Go 6 mi S on Hwy 127/13.
Shot bows at archery range. Nice place targets need some work but with over 30 targets still had plenty to shoot at. Nice to take a picnic at end and shoot at target over 60 yards
A true hidden gem! This park has walking/biking/horse trails that are well kept with just enough trimming to make it perfect. My 15 year battle with C:( is now closing in on me and I took my walks many a times with my lord Jesus. Thank you grounds crew you do a great job. God bless the USA.
Pyramid State Park is a gem that many people do not know about. The new parts of the park offer some of the best fishing opportunities in Southern Illinois...and that is saying a lot with all the great fishing in the Carbondale area! Tight Lines!
