A Beautiful Family Campground in the Heart of Starved Rock Country
At Starved Rock Family Campground we aim to provide an atmosphere of freedom and peace, centered on building a welcoming community, focusing on family values and honoring God.
Great campground. Has full hookups which is super nice and convenient. They have a little store on the grounds so if you need things for a fire or if you forgot something at home they might have it. The staff there were super friendly and easy to talk to.
The price wasn’t so bad either for full hookups. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to the starved rock state park and about the same amount of drive to Peru, IL. Pretty convenient place all around. Would definitely stay again.
This campground was so enjoyable for the weekend. The staff went above and beyond to help. We stayed in F4 and although the connections haven't been updated to the left side of the site yet, we were able to make it work (and even gave us some extra privacy). We can't wait to stay here again! Super kid and dog friendly.
Great campground just a minute from I-80. Very convenient stop if you’re planning to visits state parks by Illinois River. Nice big sites, friendly stuff.
Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end of our stay. The owner was super helpful when I called to inquire about the area. The prompt responses to emails was also great. The campground is absolutely beautiful! The sites are large and clean. The back sites have an amazing view of the sunset which I enjoyed so much. The primitive sites look amazing! We rented a golf cart for an hour and was able to check the property out.The owner was fantastic! Super nice and helpful with recommendations to nearby places. My husband is already talking about making the five hour drive back. I highly recommend this campground!

We stopped for a night on our way back home to central Wisconsin. Staff was super friendly and they have reasonable prices. Dump station was easy to access. The had grass at every site and level parking spots
