Located just northeast of Chester on Palestine Road. Coming south on State Route 3 turn left at Shawneetown Trail crossroad. Turn right on Palestine Road. Follow signs. Entrance is on left on Palestine Road. Coming north on State Route 3 to Chester. Follow signs in Chester to Palestine Road. Entrance to right on Palestine Road.
So peaceful and pretty. A very relaxing place to take a walk, especially in the spring and fall.
It’s a beautiful park, but it would be great if there was a shower house. Sometimes friends visit and spend the night, using all the RV’s water. Also, how about leveling the sites. Our auto-levelers struggled to level our rig.
Beautiful place. Nice place to fish, hike and camp. The road to get there kind of narrow be careful
Great place to camp. We primitive camped and with my husband being retired vet it was free. Everything is great except not having a shower house. Fishing is good here for catfish. They have Largemouth, Walleye, and tons of other species.
