Situated on 50 quiet, wooded acres only 2 miles from historic downtown Galena this campground accommodates all types of tents and campers and offer cabin rentals as well.
From N jct Hwy 84 & Hwy 20: Go 2 mi E on Hwy 20.
Very busy town festival weekend, was mostly full capacity. Spaces are narrow and short for modern size campers. Difficult to back into because of narrow roads and other tow vehicles parked across the street. Restrooms are clean and adequate, but barely modern. There is playground for children. CG is dog friendly. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will stay again if need to camp in the area.
Very clean and nice campground. Great location in Galena. Nice pool and showerhouse facilities. Will definitely be back for our next visit!
Hands down our favorite place to camp. We typically have a "no campsite twice in the same season" rule so we adventure as much as possible, but we have come to think of this as our go to home base and return at least once a month. The pool is large, clean and deep. Mini golf is fun and challenging. Bathrooms are very very clean. Grounds are well kept. Galena is gorgeous. And the pricing is extremely reasonable. Our dog feels right at home here with the large sites giving him room to roam on his lead. 100% recommend this place any time.
The campground is clean, pool was heated:)) Mini Golf was fun!!! they have spots to buddy camp!! They actually went above an beyond:))) Everyone there was super nice!!! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely make a reservation again!!!
