North Sandusky Campground offers more than 60 reservable campsites. All campsites have electric hookups, 16 campsites are full-hookup, and the campground offers a dump station, hot showers, flush toilets, and drinking water in order to provide a comfortable camping experience for guests. A boat dock, boat ramp, playground, and disc golf course are also conveniently located next to the campground.
North Sandusky Campground is situated around Sandusky Cove on Rend Lake in the heart of Southern Illinois. With sweeping views of the water available from most campsites, North Sandusky provides an ideal location for scenic recreation on Rend Lake.
From I-57 take exit 77 and turn west on Route 154. After 4.5 miles turn south onto Rend City Road. Continue through the four-way stop and follow signs to the campground.
I have always enjoyed staying here its where my grandparents too me for a long time each summer growing up. It just reminds me of some good times when life was hard just go camping reset, recharge, and just relax.
Don't ask don't tell ! Too many nosey neighbors.....! Too many camp sites too close together. Too many dogs/canines barking day and night! Too many rules and regulations. Too many human friendly wild life enter tent camper. Do not honor refunds. Minus stars! I tried 3 different occasions! As the old saying goes " Three STRIKES YOUR OUT! PREPAID 3 EXTRA DAYS CAMPSITE EMPTY WITHOUT REFUNDS!
First time camping here and my husband and I and three children ages 8 10 and 14.. We all had a great time! Restrooms and shower house was clean.. didn't catch any fish though lol. Would definitely recommend this place if your wanting to go camping.
