Rented the deluxe cabin for a girls weekend. The place was dirty, spider web in the bathroom so you know it was not cleaned before our arrival. The floor was gritty and dirty. Table on porch has not been cleaned this season. The stench from the water was sickening. No one could shower. Even flushing the toilet was gut wrenching. Luckily we had bottled water to brush our teeth.
Office staff was rude, security (!?!) personnel barged into the cabin about parking.
For the price we paid we could have gotten a very nice hotel suite and will do that next time.
Beautiful campground but that’s where it ends. If you’re looking to rent a cottage keep looking. We rented the deluxe cabin for a girls a weekend. If it was deluxe I’d hate to see what the regular one looked like. The cottage aka trailer was filthy. Couches ripped. Floor so dirty we had to keep our shoes on. And, oh the smell! The sulfur, rotten egg smell of the water was making us gag. Get a water softer if you’re marketing it as deluxe.
Let’s talk about the staff— RUDE. Wait, the maintenance guys were great, considering when we got there we had no running water and they turned it on which we later regretted (remember the smell!?!) But that’s where ends….we were inside for the evening when this angry staff person barged into the cottage. She did not knock. She did not introduce herself. She just yelled at us to move our car…which, mind you was parked where another staff person told us to park. When we kindly informed her of that fact — she did not apologize. She did not ask us how we were enjoying our stay. She just yelled that they (staff) needed to communicate and stomped off.
Despite having the not-so deluxe accommodations, we did have a wonderful time together enjoying each other’s company. And in the end that’s what it’s all about.
A Great Campground, neighbors help each other and look out for each other. It's a friendly atmosphere and kid-friendly. Has a good sized swimming pool, areas both inside and outside for fun activities and overall a real nice place for camping and visiting family and friends.
Very nice campground. Clean and lots of grass to walk our dog. We would stay here again. They were accommodating, nice, and professional.
Manager Jean was very rude. Will never camp there again. The store/office closes at 5pm, even on the weekends. We had problems & could not get ahold of anyone. Very poorly run campground. Don't waste your money!!! Manager was the worst I have ever encountered, & I've been camping for 50+ years.
