Edit, summer 2023. Since the ownership has changed to a more corporate organization, the park is not as nice as it once was. Weed control (goatheads) is nearly non existent and overall appearance has declined considerably. The water, power and sewer work, which is good. We tend to stay there when we head west on I80. We will stay there again.

Because of the Cheyenne Frontier Days happening when we came thru, this company jacked up their prices thru the roof. What would normally be at best $30, they charged $100. The grounds are a mess....obviously, Rjourney doesn't really care about this campground. Flies are also all over the place. There are fly traps hanging by the electric outlet. The only good thing about it was the location off I-80. Lesson learned...keep going.

Cons:

No office staff, But camp host was very nice. No store as advertised, or outdoor game areas, nothing close by, but commercial businesses .The grass(weed) areas need attention as they are overgrown. Goat heads are everywhere you walk. No picnic tables to be seen. The playground area was roped off due to ( from what we could see a hazard of falling apart), Kids in the Park have nowhere to go. Granted this park is FULL of out of state worker's, but come on, take pride in your Park. Good for brief stops only. The train runs very frequently next to the park.

Pros:

On the upside, the bath house was very nicely kept up, Laundry area was OK but only 3 of the washers worked and two of the dryers. (Thank goodness we have our own)

We would only comeback heregora night stay IF nothing else were available in the area.

The only thing I can say good about this place is it was a great location for traveling and the The Knotty Pine Saloon was near by to give us hospitality. The campground itself is in dire need of someone that truly cares about owning a campground. The grass needed cut desperately!!! The sites are very uneven! The playground had yellow tape around it. Everything here needs help!

Hey... let's be real. This is not your "RV resort" and is that's what your looking for, I recommend you move on up the road. We were coming into a winter and most all Wyoming and Colorado parks were closing. This park is open year round and MORE than met our needs for a 41 ft class A rig. We have our own showers, toilet and washer/ dryer so I cannot speak to the bath house situations but we were comfortable for the week we stayed.
