About Campground

Deer and antelope still play near the Casper KOA Campground and RV Park. More than 75 percent of the world's pronghorn antelope live within a 90-mile radius of Wyoming's second-largest city. In many places, the Plains look unchanged from the days when the Oregon, California, Mormon, Bridger, Bozeman and Pony Express trails converged here along the North Platte River. Trail ruts are still visible. Visit the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center or browse pioneer exhibits at the Fort Caspar Museum and Historic Site.

The campground is located in the town of Bar Nunn, five miles north of downtown Casper. At an elevation of 5,284 feet, the campground overlooks the City of Casper and commands an excellent view of the city and Casper Mountain to the south. Public tennis and basketball courts and a baseball diamond are located across the street, and golfers can choose from two public courses, one of which was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Or just relax in the big covered pool at the Casper KOA (Memorial Day to Labor Day). The whole family can make itself at home here with mini golf, a playground and a pet walk.

Casper KOA is the only onsite owner operated full service campground in the area. We offer free restrooms with hot showers, a 24 hour coin op laundry and a convenience store and gift shop. And we welcome long-term campers all year round. Please join us on your next trip through Wyoming!

We had our motor home, everything was great..

They have a nice inside pool, a laundromat, Small store In office.

Dogs welcome, had a dog area.

Real clean, people were so kind and helpful.

This is a Campground not a hotel.

The only thing is we never recieced a double charge of $5 back. We had our family come by for a swim and had to pay an extra $5 from the third swimmer. I asked for a refund and never received it.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The indoor pool was a plus and the shower were some of the best I've seen in a KOA.

We really appreciated the hospitality and amazing folks who run the Casper KOA. They were very kind and helpful, quickly adjusting their site availabilities for our needs as we had to extend our stay. Would recommend them to anyone. Clean and affordable quality stay if you're traveling through or spending some time in the Casper area.

This was just a pass through for us. Stayed 2 nights. Sites are level gravel. Staff were friendly during check-in and recommended things to do in Casper. There is a herd of Mexican Pronghorns that wander around the campsite perimeter so that's pretty neat. There's a restaurant that's out their back gate called the Hangar. Good food.

This is one of the best RV spots that I have stayed at. Facilities are clean and very well kept up. Showers are nice and hot. In door pool is well maintained. Most of all the staff is very friendly and helpful on all needed items. As for the location it is good for getting to easy access to everything, only issue for the back side it is close to a noisy street. I would recommend this KOA.
