Fishing from the bank is fairly good. They have let water out so the lake is smaller than it normally is. Watch out for the wind when boating as ut is equiped with one boat ramp and no docs. Good luck.
Over all, not a terrible lake. But.... bathrooms could be cleaned and the boat ramp seems a little dangerous, at least for your boat. Lastly, make sure you bring enough bug repellent. They sure have some big ones out there.
My family and I go camping and fishing here often. Great lake! It's a good size lake so finding a campsite is usually easy except holiday weekends. It has outhouse style restrooms spread out along the lake. Fishing is usually pretty good. You sometimes have livestock visitors. The only bad thing is the wind blows and some days can be pretty miserable.
Water was great great fishing spent all day there can't waite to go back
