On the east rim of the 585-acre Leonard Harrison State Park, you'll find great pa grand canyon camping that offers modern facilities, a visitor center, and the most famous scenic views of the canyon. On the other side of the canyon is Colton Point State Park. The campground is open from the second Friday in April until the third Sunday in October. Picnic tables, fire rings, showers, flush toilets, and a sanitary dump station are provided.
Visited the Grand Canyon and hiked the turkey path trail to the Pine Creek. Beautiful waterfalls, very clean state park and facilities.
Great views of the PA Grand Canyon from the rim trail viewing areas. Different trail options to explore. The trail that goes down into the gorge is a tough one so be aware of that climb. Picnic facilities on site and clean restrooms
This is one of the best state parks in the state. The views of the canyon from Colton Point are amazing, but I think Leonard is slightly better. Haven't done turkey path yet on this side, but the overlook trail gives you some great views of the canyon and is easy to navigate. Accommodations at the entrance are nice too and their is plenty of room on the entrance walkway to move around. Amazing place
Great outlook. But no gift shop like shown on line. Lots of construction but nicer bathrooms then most. No one around to answer questions or direction. The office closed over an hour early on a weekend. Will be nice when done.
