My family and I stayed here in our camper for the weekend in late August. We chose this location because it was very close to Dorney Park.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The site did not have sewer connections on each site, so you had to empty out on the way out. My only gripe was the bathrooms and showers were smaller and a little filthy. Other than that, KOA’s are a great place to stay!
The staff and owners here are always an absolute pleasure to engage with, and they never hesitate to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you stay at one of their cabins, sometimes you might need some assistance getting the electricity running, but otherwise staying here is always wonderful.
Parked by stream and delightful to hear the leaves and moving stream at night. Very quiet at night. Picnic table. Rustic. Workers there very helpful, we had an incident which one of the workers helped with. Other campers very friendly. We would definitely go back again and stay by the stream!!!!
Nice campground. Clean. Restrooms are modern and clean. Nice game room for the kids on a rainy day. Well stocked camp store. WiFi is not good. Very weak compared to other campgrounds I've stayed at. Pool is clean. Not very big. There is a small very shallow creek that kids like to fish in. I can't imagine there's any fish in it as its literally less than 6" deep. Small mini golf course. One downside is there is only one very narrow tiny bridge going over that little creek that you have to drive your vehicle and camper over and it's an extremely tight squeeze. Also the kids like to fish off it so in addition to it being too narrow I think it's dangerous. I don't understand why it's the only access point to that half of the campground. Limited tent sites along the creek.
I took my family to this campground this past summer. My husband and I had a full hookup site and my daughters and son had a cabin. My daughter brought her service dog. I booked the sites online about 6 months in advance and paid in full. It stated on the website if your dog was a service dog, don’t add it as a pet and leave the form blank. I did that. We spent 4 days at this run down boring campground but had a good time with our kids going to places outside the area. I get home and the next day get a call from the campground telling me they were going to charge me for my daughters service dog leaving hair on the futon. The ADA specifically prohibits campgrounds and hotels from doing this. I had a big argument with the owner who clearly did not respect my daughters right to have her service dog there. He stated he could charge because he was a private campground however he is a franchise not a private business. I cleared that with the ADA. If you have a service dog, this is not the place for you. We will never patronize this place again.
