The park is very clean and well kept. Trails are very well marked. However, this is not the place to come for peace and quiet. I have found none. Park rangers need to be more present and control the noise. Every morning (during a school week!) I was woken up at 8 am by screaming children and parents screaming at them. My suburban philly home is much quieter than this park.

I grew up coming to this park, so I may be biased just from the nostalgia. This park hosts lots of great events but my favorite is the conservation festival. They always have lots of activities for kids and everyone is always so kind. We love going on day hikes here as well. We love the CCC trail, Laurel run trail, the walk around the lake and the vista trail. We have also rented a pavilion hosted a few of our family reunions here. It's the perfect place to get everyone together for a little swimming, hiking, and horseshoes. 👍

What a cute state park. Not a ton of trails but bordering the Quehanna trail which os amazing.

We stayed in the campground with it was decent, but the bathrooms could have been cleaned more often, especially the shower rooms. Also, it was odd that there was not potable water throughout the campground with spigots as you normally see at campgrounds. We had site 54 which is pretty small.
