We are having a great weekend, it’s beautiful here and the staff is excellent this weekend. The office girl greeted me with a smile this evening and was super helpful getting us fixed up with propane after we ran out.

Our kids even got free ice cream along with a bunch of other campers from the owners.

These sites are huge!

Thank you Blue Rocks!

Would be 5 stars but the older lady running the store is…. Not very welcoming. She’s miserable. It was my first time and it seemed like we were a bother when asking about this place. Sighing, staring, not saying hello or thank you. Kids were scared to go back. We’re here feeling like we don’t belong. Going to try to enjoy the rest of the stay. Campground is beautiful and has lots to explore though. Just make sure you bring enough supplies 😆

My husband and I have been taking our family here for 3 years now and we LOVE the memories we've been making with our children! We are turning it into an annual tradition. The most recent time we stayed was in June 2023. Cottage 175 we stay in has privacy and a gorgeous view of the mountains and a large open field with beautiful sunsets, while sitting by the fire pit. It's the perfect sized unit for our family. It has all the basic necessities for an extended weekend of camping. With young kids, we appreciate having the beds, kitchen, shower, etc, rather than the more primitive cabins. We love how close the campground activities are with just a short easy walk to the boulder field, trails for simple hiking, playground, pool, fishing, etc. In June, we stayed 4 nights, and on the last night, the electricity went out on only our unit. Fortunately it was our last night so it didn't affect us too much, just a bit warm sleeping without the air conditioning and we couldn't make coffee in the morning, and had to pack up to leave a little sooner than anticipated to get our food on ice since the fridge wasn't powered. I called the office number in the morning and Jed Wood (one of the owners) answered. From our experience and all the google reviews, Jed seems like a really great guy who cares about making every guest's stay as pleasant as possible. He immediately apologized for the inconvenience and said he would send someone out asap to take a look at the problem. Only a little time went by and he personally drove over to take a look. It turned out to be a much more involved issue than expected, such as days worth of work to rewire, etc. We were fortunate it happened at the end of our stay so it didn't affect us too much but he immediately offered some compensation towards a future trip, which impressed us. We will certainly be back! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the kitchen in the cottage could use some updating, though everything in it is in working condition and has what we need. The windows/screens on the porch could use some fixing and the chairs on the porch are all ripping. We bring our own folding chairs since the ones there don't appear to be stable. But overall, we are satisfied each time we visit. Thanks for a great experience for our family!

This was our first time here and couldn’t of asked for a better experience. We stayed in cottage 16 and it was perfect! I packed all the essential cooking supplies and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered it was all in the cottage! My daughter loves sifting for gems and the fire truck ride. I loved the friendly staff and campers we met. I think we just found our new favorite campground ❤️ can’t wait to come back!!!
