The cabin we rented was not clean. It had pee on the toilet seat, hair in the shower, crumbs on the counter, and butter all over the refrigerator shelves. They nickel and dime you with hidden fees for less than a three night stay, extra occupants, checking in late, and paying by Paypal just to name a few. The TV did not work which they did replace midstay. Not impressed with cabin at all needed repairs the screen door was literally falling apart and the counter was also coming apart. I told someone at the front desk all of our issues and no offer was made to make it right other than to change cabins which would likely have also not been cleaned.

Really nice place! Poconos area so it's lovely country. Campground is situated nicely and has a lot of nice extras including a sauna. Cabins available too and they seem pretty new. Recommended!

We have been camping at Mt. Vista for 6 years. It's one of our favorite campgrounds because it's small, family owned, and quiet. The owners are friendly and always helpful. Though we haven't used the amenities, there's lots to do at the campground and in the area.

Mountain Vista went above and beyond for us. We were running late the weekend we came and I was worried we wouldn’t be able to check in on time. Our cabin was left unlocked for us with the porch light on. It was such a relief after a stressful route there. It felt just like coming home. I also had mistakenly sent an E-check for my deposit and ended up paying more than I needed. I was refunded instantly. Management is very pro-active and care about their guests. When we arrived we were surprised to see how CLEAN and big our cabin was! For only $109 a night, we felt we hit the jackpot. My fiancé and I had the most relaxing time. Rain or shine there is always something to do there. We spent a lot of time utilizing the game room and enjoying our cabin which also came quipped with a Tv! Our kids joined us for our last night and they loved the variety of playgrounds, basketball, and pickle ball. We are excited to come back this summer and enjoy their swimming pool and other amenities they have to offer. To note, all those complaining about the deposit should find elsewhere. The deposit goes directly toward the cabin and just ensures you don’t cancel. After all, this is a family run business and this is to make sure they are protected. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for an enjoyable, relaxing weekend getaway. There are a lot of awesome hiking trails in the area and we got to see the Delaware Water Gap during our stay. We will be back again and again!☺️
