Can't really comment about rooms or service as it's a campground but the location is great and the bathrooms are cleaned several times daily. If you happen to leave garbage out at night then you will get a visit from a very friendly skunk...but he's only friendly if you keep your distance. Camp sites are very nice and have a great fire pit.

Don’t trust the site sizing on reserve America this park is mainly tent sites I reserved a 30 foot site for my travel trailer and the site wouldn’t even accommodate a 3 person tent, front desk told me “well they’re all tent sites but it is a 30’ site” meaning the physical size not for vehicle length! Many large trees on the site. Wouldn’t recommend this campground, I’ve only stayed at state parks for years and this one sadly was far below average for state parks, the site size and layout is honestly terrible seems this park is under managed in terms of upkeep there is a turnaround at the end of one road but the sizable branches aren’t even 8’ of clearance from the ground, Roads are incredibly narrow and no where to maneuver a truck and trailer, I’m no slouch behind the wheel either I lowboy heavy equipment for a living. Difficult for even a pop up at this campground

The staff and campgrounds are great. Only problem we had was the spot we picked was too small for our RV. The staff settled that for us and we thank them for that. All sites have burn pits for cooking or just a campfire. The restrooms and showers are unbelievable. Outstanding. We would definitely go back. Campgrounds are close to everything in Lake George

This is a beautiful campground located perfectly in Lake George walking distance from all LG attractions. Beautiful lake and shade trees, keeps it cool at campsite when weather is hot. Campsite and all amenities are well maintained and very clean

Negatives...tiny tiny campground. tents are on top of one another. No privacy. Worst campground I have ever been to in my 30yrs! Skunk running around at night. On a positive, baths were clean and location is great.
