About Campground

OUR STORY

Camping for us is a way of life – creating time to slow down, living at nature's pace, enjoying family and friends, the excitement, the freedom...seeing the stars on a clear night, feeling the warmth of the fire on your toes, waking up in the morning to hear the birds singing or people laughing, and seeing those scrunchy, sleepy faces. Making these memories is what we strive for at West Canada Creek Campground.

The Campground, which is a privately owned by the Mouna Family, spans 17 acres with the beautiful West Canada river running through it. To top it off, it is at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. WCCC as it is lovingly known, was created and built to focus on giving families the opportunity to go camping in the Adirondack Mountains, making memories that last generations.

The Mouna's have a passion for outdoor life. When they began their search for a campground across both Canada and the USA, they fell in love with the campground as soon as they saw it. They wasted no time moving from Ontario, Canada to make their new home in Upstate New York. Owning a campground has been a lifelong dream and it is now a reality. Having recently taken over, Jason and Imrana look forward to continuing to make lifelong family camping memories with you.

We hope to see you at WCCC this summer!

We stayed here late October 2023, the location is very nice along the river and the view is spectacular. They are just about to shut down for the winter season. It sounds like the summer season can be very busy here. The owner operators are new to this location but sound to be very accommodating. The WiFi towers are throughout the property and worked well during our stay. Tmobile and Verizon cell service also works well if the WiFi is unavailable. There are 2 new looking washer and dryers on site which worked well. It looks like they sell propane and firewood on site as well. The sites are a mixture of grass, gravel and most appear pretty level. We would definitely stay again.

We have been talking about camping and floating for years, we finally booked this year. We had tons of questions and the office staff was always friendly and helpful. The campground was very nice. The pool was fantastic. The camp store was great. The float staff was friendly and helpful. We booked our trip again for next year before we left. I can't say enough nice things about the all of the staff, they made the trip easy and enjoyable!!!! Thank you all.

Visited WCCC with my children for Labour Day weekend. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The park was so well maintained and restrooms were impressively clean. My children couldn’t get enough of the delicious ice-cream at the caboose!! We also enjoyed shopping in the store, really novel items at great prices!! Keep it up new owners, we will be back next year for more great memories.

I’ve been visiting this campsite for years which was enjoyable before.

Now with new management a lot of things have changed and it’s unfortunate (i.e. the girl serving ice cream in the caboose, was excellent, HOWEVER, there was a extremely long line and you could feel the frustration with people waiting, busy times there should be at least someone helping out)

The old owners were social and nice would always say hello and greet anyone with a heartfelt warm feeling.

Understanding, everything old changes but this being the first time back in over 3 years, I hope the next time I visit there will be more positive changes and smiling faces around.

Loved camping at West Canada Creek Campground with my RV. I stayed here about 6 weeks and had a great time. The owner Imrama was very attentive and accommodating! Fair pricing for my length of stay! It was cut to 30/night instead of the usual nightly rate (56-62 for W/E 30amp depending on day). They are pet friendly as well! Additionally the facilities for the bathroom and laundry room were well maintained and clean. The pool was clean and heated, went in on my first day after a very long commute which was so nice. The grounds are well kept and there’s lots of running around space for kids; there’s playgrounds, volleyball, and basketball. There’s a special area to walk your dog. The people that seem to stay there longer term keep their areas nicely manicured too. And the people that were camping near me temporarily were very friendly. Also had a wonderful time tubing on the river. They have a shuttle which is super helpful, and the prices are very fair. Overall had an excellent experience at West Canada Creek Campground!
