Great campsite! I love that I can bring my dog and it's always really nice this time of year because the leaves are changing! The fall Halloween party is always wonderful! Highly recommend this place I try and come here every year!

Really nice campground! The Moose River is beautiful and lovely to listen to. Gary and Mary are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They provide a family type of atmosphere, which includes live entertainment, pot luck meals, ice cream give a ways, Bingo games, campfires, chili cook offs, with great prizes, dinner outings together, and more. We stayed as Seasonals and we were very glad that we decided to spend the summer here. We rented a campsite, but we got so much more than just a campsite. We made great friends here. They have a nice campstore with free coffee, tea, and baked goods. They are dog friendly, and they have a really nice, fenced dog park where your dog can run free off leash. They have washers and dryers that you can use too. There is a large porch at the office with several comfortable chairs and rockers where you can gather and chat with your neighbors, and you might even get lucky and play a card game or two with Mary and friends. You are sure to learn new card games while you are here. The grounds are just beautiful, and it is a safe environment where you can walk and enjoy nature. There is also lots to do here in St. Johnsbury. Gary and Mary have really done their homework and provide each camper with a nice packet of nearby places to see, experiences to enjoy, and day trips to make.

All in all, it's a really nice place to visit or stay for the season.

We stayed 4 nights in September (which we booked in January). The campground was exactly as advertised. We had a wonderful back in site along the river. It was quiet and peaceful! The grounds were very well kept up. It was a great location to take day trips from. I wish we could have extended for a day or 2 but they were booked up. We specifically booked this campground because of the location being so close to Dog Mountain. If you have dogs you will want to visit there. It's just 2 miles from the campground. The owners were so nice and friendly and helpful. We traveled in a41 ft class A. It was awesome being in a family run campground. We really hope we can return.

Here are the few negatives (which did not warrant reducing starts in any way but more of an FYI)

1. 30 AMP power along the river. No 50 amp available, but worth being in the river in our opinion

2. We were a little confused as to where the dogs were allowed to do their business in the evenings. The dog park closes at 7, and there were rules about no dogs in the garden areas - which seemed to be all the grassy areas. We managed getting them to go in the car parking grass areas but we're unclear if there might be other areas they were allowed

3. Our spot was too short to park our car on site but there seemed to be plenty of parking very close to our site.
