My wife and I stayed two nights in mid-September at a prime lean-to site.

What we liked most:

Privacy (the sites are mostly spread out, with very limited direct sight lines into the sites around you);

Quiet (quiet hours are 10pm-7am, but the campground was virtually silent all throughout our stay)

Staff (Tiffany and others were welcoming and attentive)

What may be off-putting to others (but we didn't mind):

Few amenities;

Some minor cosmetic issues in the restrooms (facilities were clean and stocked, but some paint chipping and wear was evident);

The prime sites have some impressive views, but most of the other sites are quite modest sized spaces cleared out in the woods

Just an incredible place to camp! My campsite was a prime lean to on the edge of a mountain. The view was incredible. All of the staff were super helpful, and the park was clean and tidy, including the bathroom and shower. The location is good though it's a good drive for food, ice, supplies etc. I can't wait to make it back! Photos are the view from the campsite.

Fantastic camping experience! Lean-too we stayed in was at a beautiful location with its own paths and outhouse. We had ridge overlooking a bubbling groundwater brook in a very quiet part of the woods. there were little pools with fish and frogs and the most beautiful rock formations. The water was crisp, but a great way to wash up if you can handle the cold.

We had our wedding at Coolidge State Park and we had the PERFECT day with amazing weather (which they can't control) and really great communication and support from park staff (which they can!). Huge thanks to Jacqueline and the whole team - the site is beautiful, and we loved that we were able to group camp nearby!

AWESOME venue to host a wedding, reunion or just a summer/fall gathering! We are a food truck & catering company (TRAIL BREAK taps + tacos) that is fortunate enough to cater one or two events here each season - and we'd LOVE to book more...what an epic office for the day!!
