From Jct. I-89 and U.S. 4 (Exit 1): Go 3 miles west on US 4.
Very friendly park staff! Super helpful. Wood is 6 dollars a bundle ( 10 pieces)
Lot tent site 7 was very nice though it did have puddles when it rained
Lovely campground. Most of the sites are huge - the gravel area in my site #3 measured about 100' by 18'. Sites are separated by 50' or more of woods. Big picnic table, standard fire ring with grate. Sites in the back and to the right are close to the gorge itself. The only con - it's very close to US Hwy 4, and the vehicle noise is noticeable.
This was a great first impression of Quechee state park. So far the updates look great and the cabins are huge. The quarter slot showers are spacious and clean. Even the restrooms didn't have any cobbs. It's hugely pet friendly with doggie bags strategically placed throughout the campgrounds. Don't skip out on visiting the gorge right next door. There's a camp site entrance that makes for a convenient loop into the campsites, with bridges and water features along the way. Overall It was a phenomenal experience.
