Beautiful views. You can drive to the top. Mid week not a lot of people around on a cold October day
Great little state park with a variety of hiking trails, picnic spots, camp sites and cabins. Friendly staff. Good location with a nice view.
Camping is great! Dry camping only but generators are allowed. Wonderful hiking moderate & difficult trails but well groomed. The lookout at the summit is amazing!! My dog & I had a wonderful day. Cabins are available also.
Twice a year we hold a private car event here, the staff are awesome, the locals are accommodating even though we have some louder vehicles, the sites are always well maintained as well as the bathrooms. Showers and running water throughout is extra nice. One of my favorite mountains. Toll road to multiple pull offs on the mountain make it a great low effort view of the vistas for those unable to make the hiking trails. Highly recommend!
