Beautiful well kept park. We had our wedding here and the Palmer Lodge was absolutely beautiful. Only setback was another gathering was booked right next to where we planned to have our ceremony and they took it completely over so even though we paid to use it we didn't get to have our ceremony at the stone bridge. We managed to get some really nice photos there though.

Awesome place for an event or outing.

If you get a chance to camp and hike the grounds, it is a lovely park.

Beautiful area with well developed trails and rugged, buggy ones too. It’s one of the first county parks in Michigan and features lots of hand made bridges, trout stream, ice skating, baseball, tennis, camping, hunting and more, in pretty meadows and dense woods. Apply your pyrethin insecticide for walking , thermacell while sitting, or stick to open areas. 🦟🪰
