From west jct Hwy 37 & Hwy 43: Go 2 mi E on Hwy 37/Hwy 43, then 3-1/2 mi N on Hwy 43, then 1/2 mi E on Welcome Rd.
Nice quiet campground. Owners are super nice. Awesome new playground. Bathhouse is a little bit of a walk. Not a lot of activities planned.
This campground is a good choice if looking for inexpensive, mediocre camping facilities. As camping goes the neighboring campers can make or break a visit so that’s not on them but I had to leave early due to loud, crude language … definitely wasn’t “family friendly” , drunk talk is annoying, especially at 1am
Nice playground structure for kids, beach could use some TLC/.drudge and add a couple benches.
The picnic.table was broken ion my site, fire pit too small for decent fire.
Great location. But only bathrooms were outhouses and bathrooms that they say up front were closed Sunday and mondays when we were there. Was nice area in Hastings.
This place is great! There's nice bathrooms,laundry and showers up front at the little store. Also outhouses spread throughout the campground for convenience. The water at the beach is very dark, so idk about seaweed. The kids playground is fantastic!! Very friendly.
