Located half way between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. From US 131 take Exit 61. Go east on M179 approximately 7 miles. Follow the signs 1 mile south to the Gun Lake Unit.
I used to camp here as a kid. My fiancé and I went camping here this past weekend. The land is even better after 10 years of being away. Great area for camping, hiking, biking, and fishing!
Nice area and some things to do like camping, boating, kayaking, hiking, and hunting. Trailheads sprinkled here and there. Nice for a small hike or walk.
Amazing walking trails, two tracks go to the Devils Soup Bowl. Awesome scenery and the freshest air you can ask for!
We loved this park. Very quiet and uneventful. Clean bathrooms and hot water. Toms mini market is a cannot miss. We also ate at Judd's highly recommended. We will be returning next season.
A wealth of trails and public hunting lands to explore. Very fortunate to live close but with a day trip.
