***EDIT*** The bathroom/showers near our site were TEMPORARILY closed and opened a little later. Staff sited "We wanted to deep clean before the holiday weekend but ran out of time". How about posting a better sign then?

Let me first say the staff is extremely nice, but sometimes the kids are a bit dim. When we arrived, they couldn't find our reservation. Then all of a sudden it was found. I said we have a Buick, the girl wrote Chevy, then scratched it out. "Long day".

I am handicapped. I cannot walk more than a few feet, nor can I stand for long periods. Keeping this in mind, WE PAY EXTRA to pick our own site to be as close to facilities (store, bathrooms, showers) as possible. We get here, set up our tent, extras, and I have to use the restroom. ITS CLOSED. ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND. There are 2 Porta potties outside. In order to shower, my husband now has to drive me to the other side of the campground to bathe. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD INFO TO BE TOLD TO US AT CHECK IN. We would have asked to move. Why did this girl not open her mouth? I just started camping, this is my 2nd time, and I'm not sure I ever want to go again. Or I will have to call to reserve and ask tons of questions. VERY, very disappointed.

Very beautiful place to camp at, other then them removing the lake water do to drownings, which I could recommend for kids to be kids and have fun without incidents with water. The site is very well maintained. There's plenty of parking, there is plenty to do from playing golf, basketball, volleyball or etc. I would recommend this campground to any family or person who would like to enjoy there stay with pleasant & friendly people.

Did get site we paid for and there is nothing on the website about Halloween weekends in October and the fact that there is no swimming pool no boat rentals no water slid did not tell us that visitors had to be added to our site if not they have to pay $10 a piece to enter. Park is not set up for 30' plus trailers being towed by large trucks. Over all layout of the park design is not bad but the sanitation station needs to be improved , roads are narrow making hard to maneuver large units. We had a great time the park just needs to be improved some.

My family has been coming here since I was an infant, I’m now almost 30. This is a great family camp ground. They’ve got public showers, restrooms, the main park, a lake for swimming, a separate lake for fishing and boat rides, a doggy park, hay rides, haunted houses (Halloween) and so many more fun activities for kids to do. The prices have gone up significantly over the years, but that’s the new normal. Also we used to go every year for Halloween and we no longer do because the park has made it significantly more difficult to make large reservations for large groups around that time of year.
