We stayed in a cabin last week and loved it. The pool is clean, people are nice and helpful. The kids had a blast.

We stayed for 3nights and 4days. Absolutely loved 🥰 every minute of it! My toddler didn’t want to leave neither did I! The rest of my fam enjoyed it as well! The owners are truly amazing and go above and beyond, they’ll even deliver firewood to your site so you don’t have to keep carrying it all back and forth, they offer numerous activities for the kids, bathrooms are kept super clean, it’s kept up overall very well! 10/10 recommend! We will def be going back!

Lots of uncertainty going into our first family camping trip with a 3 year old and a 15 month old. We chose Hungry Horse on a whim since it was within an hour from Michigan Adventures and it seemed family-centric. We were blown away by this campground. It’s so well kept, staff is so kind, and the environment was peaceful. The site we stayed at was essentially like camping AT the park which my toddlers LOVED! How cool?!? I adored the flowers around the different camp areas and I can see us coming back each year and the kids will always have something new to look forward to! With seasonal sites around, it helps create a very homey atmosphere. We learned next time to ask more about what is going on for activities. We didn’t realize that the hayride was running on a weekday and missed that and there were some kid activities we missed as well. This is mainly due to having some off site excursions planned, but had we known we likely would have made the effort to be there for those. The store on site has lots of items for the kids and common incidentals you might forget and there’s a Meijer 20 mins down the road.

Our kiddo found “fwiends” at the park and we made awesome summer memories.

I truly can’t say enough good things about this campground. If you’re looking for somewhere clean, safe, and built for families this is it!!

Our family & friends have loved this campground for almost 10 years now! Our kids have had the time of their lives from toddlers to teenagers, and us adults love it for the clean bathrooms, multiple playgrounds, and lots of space for riding bikes, scooters, etc. The shallow pool was perfect for the toddler years, and now that they've added pickleball courts, the kids and adults had a great time enjoying many games together.

The store has been updated with a fun selection of candy, ice cream, merch, and all the basics you may have forgotten to pack.

If you're calling with kids, it's the perfect place. We plan to keep coming back for many years!

A wonderful campsite for families with children of all ages.

The campsite has:

- Three playgrounds

- A half basketball court

- Pickle ball courts

- A volleyball course

- Shuffle boards

- An arcade

- A pool

- A free library for taking and leaving books

- A store that sells the essentials, ice cream, and candy

The campsites are spacious and have lots of trees for shade. The bathrooms are centrally located, clean, and well lit.
