Stayed over labor day weekend. We had a good time, lot of stuff for kids to do. Only issues was my kid had a allergic reaction to the soap they use for the foam party. We would stay again, but would Skip the foam.

Typically not busy, and pretty cheap, but overall not a well maintained course. Grass clippings, bald spots, and super thick grass for most holes. Not worth the money if you are serious, but if you are just for fun and don’t care about your score, a good place to start.

it was my first time playing golf. At first the owner seemed friendly and kind. I was with a friend and his girlfriend. We had a tee time of 5:30. We were taking our time because it was my first time playing. The people behind us were going faster so we decided to let them go ahead . Little did we know that they were going to kick us out and ban us from their golf course. How is this fair to someone first time learning the game. We were kicked out for doing donuts which was not true. We also were told we weren’t playing at the pace of game. We let two groups go in front of us to help this. It was my first time obviously I would be a little slower than the average golfer. As a 17 year literally first time playing. I had been given my first set of clubs from my friend. We went to turn ours keys in, and ask to play another 9. They owner had told us that we are never Allowed back. Without ever asking us our story. I had never felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed. I had no idea what I was doing. I would have listened and done what they said. They experience has hurt the reputation of golf for someone who is new to the game. Deeply saddened to have to leave this review. This was the first ever course I played as well as my friends girlfriend and now both of us are never allowed back.

Tyler Creek WAS one of the nicest golf courses around. But that was ~10 years ago. Just played 9 holes and it was barely worth the $20 it cost. Fairways are erratic and paths cut(with a mower) through the ruff. Ponds look like sewage. Greens have grass clippings and deck roller marks. Sand traps are completely gone. This course has fallen so far from the beautiful place I used to play. Golf carts seemed in disrepair as well.

In Short:

Pros: it’s cheap and not very busy

Cons: It’s not a nice course to play any more. You don’t even get what you paid for value wise.

Just be aware there are much nicer places to play for around the same cost.

New owners are on site and are very nice. It sounds like the previous owner was not on site and milked the park for money. We enjoyed our stay after a stop at the nearby zoo (highly recommend the Boulder Ridge Animal Park). This RV park was clean and had plenty of room for the kids play. Very kid and dog friendly. The customers who stay year round were also a nice bunch. We will return if we need a place to stay near Alta again.
