The FREE Galveston Ferry is a 20min drive away. Great way to enjoy the sunset and see dolphins. Stop and explore Fort Travis on your way to the ferry. Don’t forget to see the lighthouse on the other side of the road!
Pets must be kept on a leash. Please clean up after your pets. Property owners are not responsible for pets who escape fenced lot.

Owner is so nice and helpful. Concrete pads and grassy side area with picnic table. Electric is upgraded and sewer is at ground level and water tastes good. Lots of pets but everyone had them on leashes and controlled. Not a bad location if you need to take the ferry or take in one of the local restaurants.
This was easily one of our best vacations! Chris and Bunnie have done a wonderful job at creating a clean, nice, and quiet RV Park.
Each concrete pad has plenty of spacing, and every space gets its own picnic table. All of our connections work great and we had no complaints whatsoever. A couple more perks include an outdoor shower house for rinsing off beach sand and a laundry house, which contains a free book and DVD library. I'm posting a pic of our camper so you can see how close the connections are.
Rent a golf cart, have it delivered, (we used Jay's) and go explore the beach. It's only a couple of minutes away.

We just left from a 2 week stay at The Lazy Pelican. One of the best stays ever. We spent a lot of time on the beach fishing and it was great to have the laundry there in site. Chris and Bunnie we're the best hosts ever. Easy walk to the beach for some great exercise.
Sure hope we get a chance to stay with them again.
Best RV park on the peninsula. Chris & Bunnie are excellent hosts. Strong WIFI, free on site laundry room, Palapa on canal, well kept grounds, easy beach access and outside shower for rinsing off beach sand. Level concrete pads and picnic table on each site. We feel very safe here and have no issues leaving our RV & golf cart down all Summer. Come join us!
Absolutely hands down a great place, laid back, clean and quite…. Bunnie and her Husband take pride in their park and it shows.. No rift raft, ppl are friendly and courteous. Very spacious pads all concrete with rock drives and fenced. If your in the area or coming down stop in and stay awhile… tell ‘em I sent ya.. 😎
