Located 7 minutes from Okeechobee and 1 hour from West Palm Beach. From Downtown Okeechobee: Main intersection is Rt 70/Park Ave and Parrott Ave/441. Go South on 441/Parrott to end of Parrott. At the light, go left staying on 441 SE for another 5 miles. Lakeside North RV Resort is on the right.
Vicki the front desk clerk was so friendly, It's clean & has alot of activities. Our grandchildren had a great time and enjoyed the pool & lounge/game room/library/ movie room. And the laundry mat was convenient. We were even invited to have Thanksgiving dinner with the other tenants, but we had already made plans. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay...
It may take me a while to write my reviews, I take them seriously. Did you ever here the old saying “worth its weight in gold”? It’s worth every bit of what you will spend. They truly care and if you have any, and I mean any complaints, they are all taken seriously. Attended to pronto! While the accommodations may not be 5 stars, they will make you feel that important. Vicki, the woman behind the desk, and the rest of the staff, take every complaint seriously. While we did not have many complaints, and none that were anything serious, that’s the way they treated every single issue. Being on the lake and those beautiful sunsets, that is what is most important. It can be romantic, fun, and you can meet some pretty special people. I think we’ve made a couple of friends for life. It’s not the Taj Mahal, not for the spoiled rich or people who don’t value some of the most important things in life as I do. What I do know is you’ll get your money’s worth. In my opinion, with Vicki, in time, I am sure that place will be worth a whole lot more. Give that girl a raise! She treats this RV park as if she owned it. You do not see that kind of thing much in life. I say God bless and hope to see you soon! I just can’t say anything bad about people with true heart. ❤️🙏❤️
The people here are great and so is the management (new as of 2020ish). They love kids and animals and they're very helpful and understanding. I take my dog and daughter on walks everyday with plenty of room and no worries (I keep them in the community gates). Entire park has always been well cleaned and maintained! :)
Overall, the stay was okay. However, we lost our Deposit to them because they said we didn't give them 15 days notice, but we were renting month to month. We found out that the owner is losing money and business is not good there. Vickie, The Manager, was super nice and always very helpful, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because of the owner's business practices.
Absolutely beautiful view of the water from their docks. A good sized, always clean pool. The club house is always clean and has a lot of different entertainment and work out equipment. A real sense of community when throwing mixers and celebrating holidays. Highly recommend if visiting and or wanting to live there as a permanent resident.
