Only 15 minutes to downtown Tampa and 45 minute to Walt Disney World.
Only 3 miles East of I-75 on I-4.
From I-4: Take Exit 14, which is McIntosh Rd and proceed South 1/4 mile to the resort entrance on the right.
Sewage treatment plant on site wreaks day and night. Most of my neighbors speak French. That is not a problem for me. But if someone who is looking to mingle or to socialize it could prove to be a challenge. Good thing there is a long list of all types of activities for everyone to join in. One of them is English class. There it is likely that I might learn to speak French.
The campgrounds are kept pretty tidy and there doesn't appear to be any age restriction on the RV you own as long as you keep up with the proper maintenance.
The park has all of the typical amenities most vacations would hold. The staff dedicates themselves to a very rigid cleaning and patrolling schedule. The bathrooms and showers are dated and the mold in them shows that constant battle to keep r looking clean. I know that secret weapon to get those stains out but, I am saving my knowledge for my own property.
Only thing I can truly complain about is that putrid stench which comes from the treatment facility a couple sites away. Perhaps a larger berth and a levy or berm could help control this problem. It was bad enough to knock the rating down more than this three stars. I have to give credit for the rest of the facility for keeping it all very tidy and in order. I did enjoy my stay there and if I had not been able to smell I would have given it a perfect score.
Manager is a very bad liar. Be sure she knows who you are and what you are driving. She knocked and stood outside the door while I was inside the shower room. She stalked my parents and had the staff and neighbors staring us down at all times. Reporting our daily news from there points of view each day seemed to be a normal topic of conversation for my group.
The manager who stood outside and yelled at me that I need to come out immediately and show her credentials for my Jeep which I had only recently purchased. She insults me a few minutes about my vehicle and insists that I am to display a tag in my windshield. ALL GUESTS she said must display this tag they are ALL issues at check in. No matter what she insists right here I inform her of her big fat lie. I told her to stop singling out my elderly parents in law.
I am able to substantiate my claim with photos of well over a dozen vehicles parked on sites which DID NOT DISPLAY ANY SORT OF VEHICLE INFO
Please everyone correct this park manager once and for all. Feel free to look at my photos.

We arrived here today and for some reason the computer system didn’t have the updated information for our rig. The assistant manager, Rita, showed us the site we had been assigned. After talking with her we decided it wouldn’t be a good fit for our rig. She reassigned is to a newly refurbished site with a wide and long concrete pad, new 50a post and water spigots. Behind the site are some industrial buildings. No noises or privacy issues though. We are right across from one of the pools. Everyone has been helpful and the place is clean and well kept.
If you're coming here for the hot tub, they don't do that here. It's been closed for weeks.
What is wrong with this place? Trying to find out which sites they have available and they want us to jump through all these hoops first. Fill out an application, complete a background check, do an INTERVIEW... all before even telling us what they have available. Um.. what they don't have any sites we like?? Makes zero sense.
