A scrappy and unkept looking guy identified himself as the manager after he suddenly BLOCKED my vehicle with a golf cart on the main entrance road. I was entering the Sanlan resort area from the main entry off of hwy 98 south. I did not cross any checkpoints or leave the paved roadway, as I proceeded to the golf course hub /clubhouse as I had done so many many times over the years

However, when I came around the first curve of the roadway to the clubhouse, I did see a barricade device about 100 yards further up the road. There was some type of large water pump shooting water across the road and thus it was clearly blocked to pass thru. I came to a stop...did a very slow and cautious 3-pt turnaround and started going back to hwy 98 just like I had entered. I move forward about 40-50 yds from the point I turned around and a golf cart flies into the path of my vehicle in a very dangerous and abrupt manner. Causing me to make a hard braking stop that was only from a speed of 28-30mph...but was sudden due to the aggressive nature of the cart driver's course to intercept my vehicle at that moment. This was very unsettling...very unnecessary...and behavior that I believe was a huge overreach of authority, regardless of his legal role as a manager or property agent. He was flat out...wreckless!

Furthermore, this person made no sense when he tried to explain the purpose of his antics. He continued to block my way to proceed to the sanlan resort exit., threatened to make an unlawful trespassing complaint on me...he illegally detained me by constant blocking of my vehicle until I had to take an aggressive method of reversing and acceleration to evade him.

And the last issue I can confidently state about this nut's behavior is.... He made little to no sense when talking. I was a bartender in college... I know how drunk people act out...and that's what I felt I had witnessed that day. Big liability looking for a fight from this guy.

We are staying here for 5weeks in our 5th wheel camper. It is so tranquil and relaxing here .... Lots of walking trails, biking trails, golf course, entertainment and activities hosted by the resort and all shopping is within 5miles. Perfect!

Really enjoyed our week at Sanlan. Loved all the amenities eBike, trails especially the Fort Fraser trail and the absolutely stunning Circle B Reserve.

Sanlan’s staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The bathroom/shower facilities were spotless.

Definitely planning a revisit next season.
