We are right off from I-4, exit 33. Coming from the east you would take exit 33, turn right, and at the very next light turn right again. We are over the I-4 bridge on the left side of the road. Coming from the west you would also take exit 33, turn left at the light, and go to the next light, and turn left. We are on the right hand side just a short way down the road.
Quiet, safe community. Neighbors are like extended family and watch over your campsite while you are away. Management does a very good job of maintaining the grounds and they are always doing improvements. I definitely feel my rent money has been put to good use. The ladies in the office are great, always pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended for short and long term stays!
Although not a tenant myself, I visit a very dear friend regularly here at Lakeland RV resort. I've never experienced anyone being rude, hateful or in any other way and welcoming. There are many facilities to fit the needs of their tenants, including a pool, spa, laundromat and bath house. Very family friendly atmosphere.
We enjoyed our stay. It was well kept, quite, and other residents were friendly. The logging, pool, and hot tub were very clean. Linda at the front desk was friendly, professional, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and are planning another trip in làte fall.
A pleasant quaint RV and cottage community made up nostlybof full time residents and snow bird seasonal visitors. There is a small lake behind the clubhouse and there is a small pool at the clubhouse. There are wash rooms centered in the community but I did not utilize them so I can speak for the overall condition and cleanliness of the washrooms.
But it's in a good location just off Old Combee road. Only main downfall is that you can hear everything outside when you are sleeping and you can hear the main interstate I-4 corridor that goes from Daytona to Tampa, so its constant heavy traffic all day and night. If that would bother you any, then definitely dont come here. However it didnt bother me that much and I slept through it.
I guess you get used to it like anything else.
The people and neighbors are extremely close to each other and the lots are very small, so you will definitely meet or run into some of the neighbors, but they all have been nice and extremely pleasant.
I give this RV and cottage home park an A+
