We got here right at dark and had missed our turn to our site. There are so many people on golf carts driving around that you have to be very careful. Some golf cart drivers don't get over for you or even move. After we missed our turn to our site, 2 very nice gentlemen, one being a manager, helped us to our site. This campground has many long term residents, so just be mindful of that. There are some very nice park models here and we enjoyed walking by them. Weekends in the summer are very party oriented.

My Yearly Family Campout was held here and everyone Loved it and we all had a Blast. Some stayed in Cabins and Tents, Cabins were a bit pricey depending on which kind you stayed in, but they had plenty of activates and stuff to do over the course of the weekend. Overall was a Great experience for all the Family.

I take being a Google Local Guide seriously and genuinely seek to uplift the places I visit, so if I leave critical feedback, I promise you, it means something. We stayed for 2 days during the week. Check in was ridiculous. We arrived 30 minutes early in the pouring rain. Our park model was empty, but office staff dug their heels in about check-in making us wait until the printed time. We parked our truck at the park model and I walked back in the rain and waited at the counter. It could've been a Saturday Night Live Skit. I stood there in a nearly empty store waiting. The park model we had was on the backside of the tennis courts and really needs TLC. The deck hadn't been pressure washed in a long time and was super slick with the rain. We pulled the weeds that grew up thru the deck, but didn't spend much time on the deck as hornets have made nests in the siding. Consider bringing your own kitchen supplies. We had make breakfast in a single kettle. The layout of the park model, however, was fun and the AC is incredibly cold. Parking at the unit was excellent as was the spacing from neighbors. The overall property is huge. Do not let your little kids wander. Some folks, in the daily back 40, are there to clearly get smashed by noon, and after sundown, there are minimal staff visible. Even if you had a concern, I'm not sure you'd find anyone to help you. I can't imagine what this place is like when it's full. I did appreciate the seasonal residents by the fishing pond. There were two retired teachers that come up every weekend from the Chicago area; they were awesome. Overall, bring your own supplies and let loose; this seems to be that kind of place.

We are staying in cabin 6. These are not cabins. They are campers with a fancy covering. The description of ours did not indicate any steps except for the loft. One bedroom was down two steps. One huge step to get inside one door, the other was fine. VERY limited dishes and cookware. Dirt in every corner,

floors filthy - I don't think they have ever seen a mop . Deck needs maintenance. No lawn chairs as advertised but a recliner love seat that would be hard to move to fireplace area. The picnic table is in rough shape. Upon checkout, we are to strip our beds, sweep the place and basically do the cleaning the staff should do. For the price they charge, not worth it. The location is great and the pool is nice. I've had better experiences at ma and pop motels. I had great expectations for this place as my brother has a seasonal here. So disappointed.

Outstanding establishment! Very clean and well organized. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that I was assigned cabin 13 and had reservations for 6-9 October. It was a cool Oct Friday. Walked into my cabin and discovered the heater wasn't functioning. Right away, contact via email about my dilemma. Saturday morning, no response, went to front desk twice, to report my lack of heat. Still no response. I reported my issue again Sunday morning. Staff decided they couldn't fix it, so they provided space heaters. It was totally warmed my final night Sunday night.
