About Campground

Located within the Villages of Menomonee Falls and Lannon, Menomonee Park is filled with a historical background from the stone quarrying period of 1880-1900. Historical remnants include an old stone crusher and the railroad spur from the quarry to the Bugline. The Park totals 464 acres of rolling field, high quality maple woods, cattail marsh, wetlands, and a 16 acre quarry lake. During your travels through the miles of trails, you may spot a warbler, thrushes or other songbirds. The rolling hills provide challenges to hikers, cross-country skiers and those on snowshoes.

Enjoy a bike ride along the historical Bugline Recreational Trail that was once the railroad that served Stone City. The 16-mile paved trail is a treasure for hikers, bikers and runners. A separated portion of the trail is set aside for equestrian use. Rent Stand Up Paddleboards and Canoes on site.

Fantastic place for camping and group togethers.Ample space for parking as well as putting up your tents. Beach area close by with restrooms to clean up. Just make sure to carry ample bugs sprays ,torches and everything possible to keep pests away. Advisable to wear fully covered clothing for extra protection from the bugs who seems to kind of get used to the bug sprays.

Beautiful place with small lake, playground suitable for kids from 2-13... in my opinion. Bathrooms are clean with showers included. Perfect place for camping, dog friendly and lots of trail. Didn't have enough time to explore the entire area... definitely coming back. Payments at the entrance or online: cash or card.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Menomonee Park, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This park truly is a nature lover's paradise. From the moment I stepped foot in this stunning oasis, I was captivated by its beauty and tranquility.

First and foremost, the park boasts an impressive range of outdoor activities. Whether you're into hiking, biking, fishing, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll, Menomonee Park has something for everyone. The extensive trail system is well-maintained and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. I found myself completely immersed in the serene atmosphere, feeling reconnected with nature at every turn.

The park's centerpiece, Lake Menomonee, is an absolute gem. Its crystal-clear waters provide the perfect setting for boating, kayaking, and canoeing. I spent a delightful afternoon paddling along the peaceful shoreline, surrounded by picturesque scenery and abundant wildlife. It was a truly magical experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and at peace.

The park's facilities are excellent as well. The picnic areas are clean, spacious, and equipped with sturdy tables and grills. It's an ideal spot for gathering with family and friends, enjoying a delicious meal amidst nature's splendor. The playgrounds are well-maintained and offer a safe and enjoyable playtime for children. The park also provides ample parking space, ensuring a hassle-free visit.

I was impressed by the dedication of the park staff to maintain its natural beauty and cleanliness. The trails were well-marked, making navigation easy, and the park grounds were immaculate. I appreciated the efforts made to preserve the park's ecological balance while still allowing visitors to enjoy its wonders.

Additionally, Menomonee Park hosts various events and programs throughout the year, catering to different interests and age groups. From educational nature walks to music concerts, there's always something happening at the park that adds an extra layer of excitement and engagement.

In conclusion, Menomonee Park is a hidden gem that offers a remarkable escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in nature's beauty, unwind, and create lasting memories. I highly recommend this park to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating experience surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes.

Thank you, Menomonee Park, for providing such a wonderful haven for nature enthusiasts like myself. I will definitely be returning soon for more unforgettable experiences.

It's always a top pick for my wife and I. Always love bringing the dog here. Lots of trails, some closed in winter for cross-country skiing. We have had great success bird watching here in spring. 3 years running, we have found Scarlet Tanager and Indigo Buntings towards the camp ground. Wish the camp ground had electric. Even a dog park where you can set your dog free. I see people fish not sure how successful they are, but do take advantage of dog beach/swim area. Be careful as this last summer got hot almost looked like blue algae was growing.

This has to be the crown jewel of Waukesha County parks. There are numerous amenities I'll list later. The park is very well maintained and staffed appropriately. They recently added a Beer Garden, open Wed-Sun, with snack bar food and often a food truck. There is also a path around the lake that's about a mile long.

The lake is a former quarry, so is very deep. The park is also attached to the large Bugline Trail.

Amenities at Menomonee Park include many camp sites, both individual and group; a beach with swimming; archery; scuba; fishing; many picnic areas with grills; hiking; kayaking; beer garden; snack bar; and dog exercise and beach areas.

Almost afraid to post this as I don't it attracting more people 😜.
